90 Days of Focused Study Challenge for Law Students!
How to Participate?
All participants will be added to an Instagram groupchat. This is for some check-ins throughout the week, to bolster positivity and make sure everyone has community around them. We will also be providing some moodboards, for positivity and encouragement. You might even find some fellow students studying the same modules as you and work together.
We will have an anonymous weekly study log, where you can log how many hours of study you do and we will announce our joint study total at the end of each week.
"The 90 Day Challenge has allowed me to prepare in advance for exams instead of leaving it to a few weeks prior. It has also allowed me to perform better in assignments as continuous study has given me better insight into topics being assessed"

To create discipline in this challenge, we are going to have goals for our mind, goals for our body and goals for our spirit.
OUR MIND GOALS

-
Study at least 10 hours per week, broken up into your own schedule across the week depending on how much time you have.
-
Attend at least 90% of our lectures per week.
-
Attend at least 1 office hour for all of your modules - these lecturers are here to help so make sure to take them up on their office hours, provide them with the planned outline for essays, ask them to help you with your understanding for a tough topic, see if they've any recommended readings to help.
-
Make a study plan for the week, using our helpful planner!
- Make sure you are doing 3 trainings/activities a week - this can be sports, the gym, going on a 10 minute walk around your campus to take a break from studying, taking time away from your desk to do a little stretch, anything! Studies prove that exercise can help academic success and concentration habits.
- Try drink at least 1 litre of water a day. (Okay, the recommended is 2 litres, but that can be difficult. Start small!)

OUR BODY GOALS
OUR SPIRIT GOALs

-
Dedicate at least 30 minutes each day to doing something you enjoy. This can be an episode of your favourite T.V. programme, reading a few pages of a book, having a little self-care night, even scrolling through TikTok. Something to relax the brain, but always AFTER your study has been completed.
-
If you’re feeling adventurous, try some more goals to help your spirit, this can be daily affirmations, meditation, journaling, but if that's not your thing… don't sweat it.
"I never liked comparing myself and my work to others, so I was quite skeptical about joining, but everyone was so kind and helpful it made my worries disappear so quickly. Everyone was so clearly on their path but so willing to help others too!"
