What is Legal Success Toolkit?
Legal Success Toolkit was built by a law student, for law students, because studying the law is a unique skill that often isn't taught in universities.
We make the tools we wish someone had handed us on day one: toolkits, flashcards, and study guides that turn your notes into a system.
We back it up with content on everything that lecturers assume you already know, and a growing community of students and campus ambassadors across Ireland who are figuring it out together, and sharing what they know.
Our Story
It all started with a problem nobody noticed.
Our founder was a law student herself, sitting through lectures that assumed she already knew how to brief a case, find a statute, or structure an essay - skills nobody was taught, but everybody was expected to have.
So in September 2024, she started sharing what she was figuring out, one Instagram post at a time.
What began with one person has now grown into an incredible community that spans across Ireland, with volunteers and Campus Ambassadors in every major university in the country.
You can see more details on our incredible team below.
In May 2026, that work was recognised when our founder was named a finalist for Legal Educator of the Year at the Irish Law Awards, up against professors and senior lecturers, as the only student shortlisted in the category.
Our Team
Katie Bealin - Owner & Director
Being a law student for the last 6 years made it clear to me that the legal sphere can struggle to foster a sense of community, to provide simple accessible material, and loses out on so many great students because of it. My passion is legal education, specifically designed for those who struggle with traditional methods, and in the age of the digital era - why should we be limited in the ways we learn? I started Legal Success Toolkit to document my journey, and it has become bigger than I ever could have imagined!
Kash Hassan - Creative Director
When I first got into law, I was worried I'd lose the flair and opportunity to be creative. I have always been involved in everything creative from graphic design to video production and I was very much hoping I wouldn't have to let that go once I study law. I'm glad to say that because of Legal Success Toolkit, I didn't have to. In fact, I realised that I can still be creative as a law student but through a whole new angle.
